Launch

Racism Has No Home Here began in June 2020 during a small, peaceful protest.

In a predominately white community following George Floyd’s death, those marching were confronted by counter protestors who blocked their way, used racist speech, and told them to go back to where they came from. It was at that moment that Jen, the mother of a biracial son, decided that the anti-racist group in her town needed to be heard just as loudly, and a local sign project was born. Racism Has No Home Here has quickly mobilized people, and there are now thousands of signs placed throughout North America (currently in 30 states, DC, and Canada).

learn

Parents, friends, families, and community leaders—we can make a difference.

We can educate ourselves and teach others how to be actively anti-racist. We can learn what individual and institutional racism mean and how we can help dismantle them. We can positively impact our communities.

We strive to make sure our efforts and resources provide education on how to talk about racism, practice allyship, lead anti-racist action, and be part of a path forward to address inequality and injustice.

Lead

Anti-racism takes all of us.

You can organize and advocate for the formation of anti-racism efforts in your schools, towns, and places of worship. You can participate in community meetings to exchange ideas and increase awareness. You can support efforts by purchasing signs that fund scholarships for students of color who have become anti-racism organizers. And we can help you get you started by facilitating discussions, speaking at community engagements, and more.

We continue to offer our signs and window clings. We also accept donations to support anti-racist organizations and provide scholarships for students of color.
